1966: Romanian state-owned Dacia began manufacturing the Renault 8 under license as the Dacia 1100 (and the Renault 12 in 1969 as the Dacia 1300).

1998: Renault acquired 51% of Dacia.

2000: Dacia 'SuperNova'.

2003: Dacia 'Solenza' replaced the SuperNova.

2004: Renault now had 99.3% of Dacia.

2004: Dacia 'Logan'.

2008: Dacia 'Sandero' presented at the Geneva Motor Show.

2009: Dacia 'Duster' SUV shown, 4x4 or 4x2, on sale in uk mid 2012 from £10.8K(?) ... £13K(?).
