Land-Rover built prototypes of larger versions of Land-Rovers, that never went into production. This design has a 129" wheelbase, 9.00×16 tyres, and 2.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo-charged diesel (the latter was a sign of things to come).

The 129" has the leaf springs over the axles. It is clear that most of the cab derives from the ordinary Land Rover of the day.
