Broadcast on BBC TV 3 Oct 1961 to 14 Nov 1961, 7 episodes x 45 minutes (Vahimagi 1994, Leman 1991, Fulton 1990).

Most of A for Andromeda was later destroyed by the BBC although a copy of episode 6, the Eye of the Tiger, was returned c2005 and included on the BBC's 2006 DVD set the Andromeda Anthology with various fragments and "tele snaps" (stills).
