at the Indian Defence Expo. 2008: light 4x4, 1.2 ton payload,
competing with the LandRover
Defender etc..
- 2008, March 26: Ford agreed to sell
Jaguar and
Land Rover to
Tata Motors for us$2.3billion.
The deal was finalised at Gaydon on 2 June 2008.
"Long term agreements [were] entered into for supply of
engines, stampings and other components to Jaguar Land Rover."
- 2009 March 23:
Tata Motors announced the commercial launch, in India, of
the Tata Nano, with deliveries from July 2009.
